Exploring

Patrick and I have enjoyed watching G explore the house over the last few weeks. He has discovered the dishwasher, blinds, the doorstop, the peep hole on our front door, nightlights and just about anything else within his reach. Here are a few shots from his days of exploring:

Lots of Changes

The last month has been full of changes for Graham (and us too)!! The first week of September his first tooth came in, followed by a second one a few days later.

A week after that, he pulled up to his knees in his crib, learned to crawl that same night, and to my surprise was standing in his crib after a nap just days later! Since then he has been perfecting his crawling and pulling up skills and is all over the house. He seems super proud of himself and just smiles and squeals with delight.

Graham's Baptism

Last weekend Graham was baptised in our church and it was such a special day for Patrick and I as we brought him before the Lord. We felt very blessed to have family and friends be a part of this day as they will most definitely be involved in his life as he grows. We pray for God's blessings in his life, that he will come to accept the Lord at an early age, and for strength and wisdom as we strive to raise him in a Godly home.

Ahhh, the mountains!

It's no secret that we LOVE the mountains and are always looking for a good excuse to head up there. Since Patrick turned 30 this weekend, we thought that was as good of a reason as ever for some family R&R in our favorite place!

A Taste of Something New

We started Graham on baby food yesterday and were surprised by how much he liked it. He downed a container and a half of carrots in no time and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Here is a picture of him eating...

Busy Boy!

We went to the doctor yesterday for Graham's six month appointment - he weighed in at 16 lbs 4 oz and was 28 inches long (whoa - 90 to 95th percentile in height)! We knew he was long, just not that long!! And he is definitely on the move these days. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of crawling but he is so close...he scoots and turns himself in all different directions. He is constantly reaching for things (toys, books, his pacifier, my hair, his spoon) but his favorite thing right now is the remote! If it is anywhere close by, he cranes his neck to see it or better yet grab it! Look out dad, you may have some competition soon! :)

6 Months Old Today

Oh that smile brings us so much joy! We love you little guy and can't imagine our life without you!!

Summer

This month we went to see P's family in Florida and went to the beach with my family. We really enjoyed both trips and were glad to be able to relax and spend time with family! Here are a few pictures from the trips...
