First Day of School

This was a big week at our house - Graham started preschool!

Here are some pictures of him on his first day!

Off we go!

He has been two days so far and absolutely loves it. When I picked him up this afternoon the teacher called him over off of the playground and as soon as he saw me he said "Ughhh." Guess he wasn't quite ready to leave. So far he has been excited about the hermit crabs in his classroom (he has asked both sets of grandparents if they will come see his crabs), cars, the sandbox, and the playground. We are excited about this new step for him and are praying he has a good year!

Spending Time Together

The last few weeks have been busy as we have been learning to juggle the needs of two kids but I was able to capture a few sweet moments between Graham and Madelyn.

He has been so curious about her and has tried everything from giving her a "high five" to handing her toys and has even tried to share his goldfish (yikes!)...

... but his favorite thing is to do "tummy time." He gets down on the floor with her every time which warms my heart (but also makes for one nervous mommy)! I can't wait to watch the bond between these two grow, gently of course! :)

"Where's My Baby Sister?"

This was the first thing Graham asked when he ran into our hospital room. Here are some pictures from their first meeting. As you can see, G was really excited and wanted to give her lots of hugs and kisses!

Welcome Little One!

Madelyn Renae was born on July 5th at 6:15 am!

I love this picture of her - I always want to remember how my babies looked in the hospital the first time I met them so fresh and brand new - they change so fast!

Big Boy Bed

At the end of May we moved Graham from his nursery into his new "big boy room."

It was an adjustment for all of us. Graham was excited about his bunk beds but also a little confused about his old room and the new pink curtains that had gone up. And it was hard for me as his mom to see my little boy in such a big bed. I guess it's just one more baby step toward more freedom for him, which is great but I have to admit that I was sad I wouldn't be rocking him anymore. He truly is a big boy these days...
