One Year Old Yesterday

I still can't believe it, but our little guy turned one yesterday. I look at him and I see more of a little boy than a baby. He is so full of life, so active and so fun to be around. He approaches everything with zeal and curiosity and I love his fun-loving spirit. He has brought so much joy and happiness to our lives - Patrick and I both hop out of bed every morning so excited to see his smiling face. At one, he is toddling around, taking a few steps here and there, babbling, clapping, waving, shaking his head, imitating stuff we do, and checking out everything. He loves blueberries, music and dogs. He is 23 lbs and 30 inches long and we love him SO much!! Here are some pictures of him on his birthday...

Graham and Grady

A few weeks ago Graham and I went to visit a friend from home. Meredith and I grew up together and her son Grady was born just weeks after Graham. It was so fun to meet Grady and see the boys together!! They are doing a lot of the same things and it was neat to spend some time talking and enjoying our little guys!

Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with Patrick's family this year. Ans was home and J, L and their kids came the day after Christmas. It was fun to all hang out for a few days!

We were excited to take Graham to his first Christmas Eve service and can't wait for him to know and understand the real meaning of Christmas!

First Trip Away

In early December, Patrick and I went to Charleston for some quality time just the two of us. We went to a tree lighting, a boat parade, took in some of the Christmas decorations around town, and enjoyed some fresh seafood! We had a great time but were excited to get home to our little boy!!

Turkey Day

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Kelly and Matt were in town, my brother was home from school and my grandparents came over for our Thanksgiving meal. Here are some pics from the day...

One of my favorite pictures...my grandmother has worn this necklace for as long as I can remember and Graham loves playing with it! Such a sweet thing to see him with his great grandmother!

Blogging Hiatus

It has been months since I last blogged - early November to be exact - and I'm not really sure where the time has gone. The craziness of life and the holidays definitely took over but there were so many things I had intended to post and share. So I am posting them now, although a little late. The end of 2009 was a special time for us as we celebrated Graham's first Thanksgiving and Christmas and we were so glad to be able to share this time with family. Posts to follow- enjoy!
